What is the Summer League?

It is a series of 8 races organised by East Hull Harriers running club.
They are run on Tuesday evenings, start time 7:15pm, except the 1st one, 17th April which starts 7pm.
All the runs are on quiet country roads from various scenic locations.
The main race is a handicap race and therefore anyone could win, also there are handicap prizes for individual races if entering the handicap league. However, if you don’t want to commit to a full series, you can run one off races paying on the night which some of our ladies plan to do.
It is an excellent opportunity for the self improver, and a really beneficial evening out.

Support

If any ladies can spare time to come to the races as supporters, please do. Marshal support is really appreciated, as is simply being there to hold jumpers and cheer the West Hull Ladies in. If you’ve not been to the races before it will also give you the opportunity to find out what it is all about.

Winning Prizes League Structure

All competitors who pay the "one off" entry fee are eligible for the individual race handicap awards and league points. (Subject to the 7 day entry clause)

Points awarded:
60 to the winner reducing to a minimum 10 points for all handicap finishers.
Total final league points to be highest aggregate from maximum of 6 races.
Prizes for league are first 5 on handicap.

Handicap 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Male : 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
1st Male V40, V45, V50, V55 ,V60 & V65+,
1st Female LV35, LV40, LV45, LV50, LV55 & LV60+

Only one individual prize per runner in each race. Any non awarded prizes will therefore be used to supplement the individual handicap prize list.
